Problem/Symptom

Why the drive starts to get error after the firmware is updated to the drive?

Solution

Disk Supplier suggests to do disk scrub after disk firmware update.
For free disk case, you could do the disk scrub directly after disk firmware updated.
For pool member disk case, you need to follow below step,
Step 1, Set free one-member disk and the pool will become degraded mode.
Step 2, Do disk firmware update with this disk.
Step 3, Do disk scrub with this disk.
Step 4, Set this disk to spare disk to rebuild the pool.
Step 5. Please wait until pool rebuilds successfully first, and then repeat the step 1 to step 5 with other pool member disks.
